Admission Process

Step 1: Take the Entrance Exam

  • Incoming freshmen are requested to take the Resurrection College Prep High School Entrance Exam in order to be considered for admission. This exam is for 8th grade students only. Pre-registration for the entrance exam is available here.

  • Date and Time: Saturday, December 1 , 2018, 7:45 a.m. – noon.

  • Exam fee is $25 (cash or check, online registrants may pay via credit card), bring two #2 pencils, no calculators.

  • Potential students who take the Entrance Exam at a different Chicago Archdiocese high school may have those exam scores sent to Resurrection for consideration in acceptance and placement.  By taking the exam elsewhere, these potential students may experience delays in notifications, depending on when the exam scores are transferred to Resurrection.

Step 2: Apply

  • After taking the Entrance Exam, 8th grade students and their families need to formally apply to Resurrection College Prep. The following steps need to be taken in order to have a completed application:

  • The application for admission will be made available on Saturday, December 1 , 2018.

  • Complete the authorization form: Records Release to Resurrection College Prep.  Please note: this form must be turned in to your student’s current school by December 4, 2018.

  • Completed applications are due by December 10 , 2018.

Step 3: Acceptance

  • Those students whose process is completed by the deadline will then be considered for admission.

  • The admissions committee reviews the test scores and admissions application.

  • Acceptance letters will be mailed December 21, 2018.

Step 4: Tuition Assistance & Scholarships

  • Families may apply for tuition assistance (FACTS) and scholarships beginning on December 1, 2018. All forms are available on our Tuition Assistance and Scholarship Page. The deadline for FACTS and scholarships is Tuesday, January 8, 2019.
