Academics
- 17 Illinois State Scholars (2012)
- 1 National Merit Commended Scholar (2011)
- The Class of 2011 was awarded over $6.2 million in college scholarships.
- Chicago Tribune All-State Academic Team Finalist (2009, 2010, 2011)
- Recipient of the Blue Ribbon in Health Education. The Blue Ribbon Award recognizes high quality high school health programs in Illinois. Resurrection is the 7th high school in Illinois and the only Catholic school to receive this prestigious award.
- 222 students are members of our eight honor societies. (2011)

Science and Engineering
- The Resurrection Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) Team placed 2nd in the Regional WYSE competition. (2011)
- Student selected to participate in engineering research position at Argonne Laboratory.
Journalism and Publications
- The Innerview received a first place award from the American Scholastic Press Association.
- The Res Banner received a gold medalist certificate from the Columbian Scholastic Press Association.
- The Allegiance Yearbook received a silver award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
Fine Arts
- The Res/Notre Dame Band received first place in class and second place overall at the Midwest Music Festival.
- Two Resurrection students were named finalists for the City of Chicago Vehicle Sticker Contest. (2010, 2011)
- Chamber Orchestra musicians received a Division I Award, superior rating for their performance at the Illinois High School Association’s Solo & Ensemble Music Contest.
The Orchesis dance team placed 4th in the Dance America regional competition.
