What are the graduation requirements for Resurrection High School? 

24 credit hours are required for graduation from Resurrection High School.
Those credit hours are broken down into the following number of credits by study:
Religious Studies 4.0 Credits
English 4.0 Credits
Lab Science 3.0 Credits
Mathematics 3.0 Credits
Social Studies 3.0 Credits
Foreign Language 2.0 Credits
Physical Education/Health 2.0 Credits
Fine Arts 1.0 Credits
Computer Applications 0.5 Credits
Electives* 1.5 Credits
*In addition to the required subjects, you may choose from a number of elective courses which enable you to explore and develop your interests and talents.

What is the LAS program?

The SAS Program provides additional academic support and skill training to students at varying levels of ability and learning styles. SAS is a 2-year program currently available to freshmen and extends through sophomore year based on the individual student’s needs. Through small class/individualized instruction, students improve their auditory memory, listening, study and organizational skills. The goal of the SAS Program is to assist the student’s development and competence in language and critical thinking skills.

What percentage of students continue on to college after attending Resurrection?

 95% of Resites go on to universities; others to community or trade schools.

What is the average ACT score of Resurrection?

 The average ACT score of Resurrection High School is 22.3

Why does Resurrection no longer provide a class rank?

Resurrection High School no longer ranks students. This change is based on the belief that a statistical class rank would represent an inaccurate assessment of the student's ability and potential for college success. In an effort to assist admission officers, a grade distribution for the five major academic areas for the graduating classes is provided.

What tutoring programs are available for students?

 • Faculty and peer tutoring are available in academic areas on an individual basis.

• The Resurrection English Center (REC), a writing, reading and language lab, offers professional and student tutoring during the school day.

• The Math Resource Center is open during all school periods where mathematics teachers, as well as peer tutors, are available to assist students.

Is there financial assistance available?

Private School Aid Service (PSAS) applications are available in January and February. Financial Aid preferences is given to those who take the Placement Exam at Resurrection High School.  

• A family discount of $200 is awarded annually when there are 2 daughters enrolled at Resurrection High School.

• A family discount of $400 is awarded annually when there are 3 daughters enrolled at Resurrection High School.

• Resurrection High School Financial Aid Grants are made in varying amounts based on need and availability of funding.

What are the travel opportunities available to Resurrection Students?

Resurrection students have a number of opportunities to travel abroad under the guidance of faculty from the English, Foreign Language and Social Studies departments.  Participants have the option of working toward course credit in conjunction with selected trips.  Specific information regarding each of the trips will be provided to students during the school year.

How many sports teams does Resurrection have?

Resurrection High School has 11 athletic teams:
