Resurrection College Prep High School Theater presents PUFFS on Friday, March 31st at 7 p.m.; Saturday, April 1st at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, April 2nd at 2 p.m.

Join us for a morning a family fun, complete with crafts, snacks and drinks! The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the RES Cafeteria. Plus, the Easter Bunny will be here, so be sure to visit with him and get your picture taken!
Resurrection is excited to welcome back Class of 2010 alumna Violeta Podrumedic, from 101.9 The Mix, as our emcee for the Celebration of the Century on Saturday, April 29th!
This week's RES Student of the Week is junior Cassidy Worthem!
Cassidy has done an incredible job as Props Master for our Spring play. In addition, she is an athlete and is in several advanced level courses. Cassidy is a dedicated student, who works hard for her goals and values her friendships and classmates.
Colleen plans to study civil engineering in college. She said the STREAM program helped her decide what she wanted to major in. During STREAM I, the class had many guest speakers, allowing her and her classmates to learn more about engineering and how you use science and math in certain careers. One of those guest speakers was Leslie Everson, civil engineer and Senior Construction Technology Manager at Walsh Construction
“I am kind of like a bad penny that keeps coming back and forth to RES,” said Sister Stephanie Blaszczynski, C.R., Class of 1955. “That expression probably doesn’t mean anything to people these days, but when I was a kid, you’d find this penny and then all of a sudden you’d find it [again] later, and it would be like returning to something. But, it was always a joyful thing for me to return to RES."
While on the experience, which takes place March 19th through March 24th, students will spend a day with Border Patrol, touring the facility and hearing from various border patrol officers; visit Operation Streamline in Tucson at a federal courthouse and hear from public defenders; spend a day on Tohono O’odham Nation Reservation; learn more about the process of migrating from Mexico through guided hike with the Tucson Samaritans; and much more. Students will participate in a number of activities and reflections at the end of each day.
The third quarter ends on Friday, March 10, 2023. We are hosting virtual Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 1:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Parents are encouraged to attend conferences with their daughter(s) teacher if she is receiving a C or lower in a class.
The tradition of honoring women of high achievement over the past 100 years has shown our students whom they can and should aspire to be. As we look ahead to the next 100 years of educating young women, Resurrection is pleased to announce we will continue to recognize our alumnae's professional and philanthropic achievements with two new awards.
STREAM III with AP Seminar is the third and final course in the STREAM Program. This course builds upon the skills and experiences of STREAM I and STREAM II and challenges students to deeply explore a topic, issue, or idea of individual interest. Students design, plan, and implement a yearlong investigation to address a research question.
On February, 16th four of our RES seniors, Maggie Defend, Ava Bellwoar, Catherine Lacala, and Mila Munson, traveled to Argonne National Laboratory to conduct an experiment using the Advanced Photon Source (ASP).
Throughout the month of February, our Social Science classes have followed along with the National Museum of African American History & Culture's Black History Month theme of Black Resistance: A Journey to Equality
The Resurrection College Prep High School Practicum Program is a job shadowing program that offers students the opportunity to work with mentors in a professional setting to explore career possibilities and learn career-related skills. Students gain a fuller understanding of the skills required and how people interact in a particular work environment.
This week's RES Student of the Week is freshwoman Norah Lazarra! Norah is an outstanding student. She constantly applies herself, goes above and beyond to ensure she understands the lessons, and is highly intellectually driven toward academic success. She immerses herself in wanting to learn the Italian language and is a pleasure to have in class.
