Bandit Talent Shines Beyond Campus: RES Students and Alumnae in The Wizard of Oz

Last month in October, St. Elizabeth of the Trinity’s fall production of The Wizard of Oz came to life with the help of talented Resurrection College Prep students and alumnae. Current senior Abigail Grzeczka managed the lighting for the show, creating the perfect atmosphere for the story to unfold. Resurrection alumnae Rebecca Gold, who now teaches music at the school, directed the production, while Amy Rubic provided piano accompaniment, showing the depth of Bandit talent reaching beyond our campus.

At Resurrection, our theater program does more than teach students how to perform on stage; it prepares them to take their skills into the world. Through hands-on experience in acting, music, stagecraft, and technical production, our students learn collaboration, creativity, and leadership. Whether working in lighting, directing, or music, RES graduates leave ready to share their talents with the wider community, bringing energy, artistry, and Bandit pride wherever they go.

Seeing current students and alumnae involved in local productions is a perfect example of how the skills and confidence developed at RES continue to make an impact. Our students are not just performers; they are artists, leaders, and creators who carry the lessons of their RES experience into every project they pursue.
