Global Seminar Fest Celebrates Culture, Community, and Collaboration

Global Seminar Fest Celebrates Culture, Community, and Collaboration

Our library was transformed during Seminar as students gathered for this year’s Global Seminar Fest, a vibrant, student-led celebration of cultures from around the world.

Planned and hosted by our De La Salle Scholars, the event invited students to step into an interactive experience featuring food from different countries, music that reflected global traditions, and clothing that highlighted cultural heritage. As students moved throughout the space, they were encouraged to ask questions, engage in conversation, and deepen their understanding of the many cultures that shape our community and our world.

The energy in the room was unmistakable. Laughter, music, and meaningful dialogue filled the library as students explored each station. What made the event especially impactful was the intentionality behind it. Our Scholars thoughtfully designed each element to promote diversity, foster respect, and celebrate the richness of global traditions.

This year’s Global Seminar Fest was also strengthened by collaboration with students from St. Patrick High School. Their partnership in the planning process reflected the power of working together across school communities to create something truly meaningful. The shared commitment to honoring cultures and encouraging dialogue was evident throughout the event.

Global Seminar Fest is more than a celebration; it is an extension of our mission. It challenges students to broaden their perspectives, appreciate differences, and recognize the beauty in the diversity that surrounds them each day.

Thank you to our De La Salle Scholars, our partners from St. Patrick High School, and everyone who participated in making this event such a powerful and memorable experience.
