Athletic Wing Renovation Renderings & Timeline

The time has come to share some thrilling updates about the largest capital investment in student life at Resurrection—our full renovation of the entire athletic wing! After years of research, planning, and valuable community input, we are excited to unveil the official renderings of this transformative project.

Construction is set to break ground in the second week of June, with completion expected by late Fall. This multimillion-dollar renovation is designed to ensure our students and athletes have the tools they need to excel, both on and off the field. By incorporating modern, state-of-the-art facilities, we are taking a bold step forward in shaping the future of our athletics program and enhancing the overall student experience.

The renovation will feature a cutting-edge fitness center with workout zones tailored for female athletes, a modern shower facility, and a dedicated physical education space. Additionally, updated meeting and workshop areas will provide space for team collaboration, film analysis, and workshops. A new athletic training area will be introduced alongside a separate space for visiting teams, and new offices will be created for coaches. The project will also bring significant branding enhancements, reinforcing school spirit and pride.

This project results from extensive planning with our steering committee, composed of staff, community members, and the President’s Strategic Planning Student Coalition. Their dedication has ensured that every aspect of this renovation meets the evolving needs of our student-athletes while fostering school spirit and unity.

The next steps in the process will be working with the President’s Strategic Plan Coalition and the Principal's Advisory Council, two groups comprised of students, to gather additional input on the design options, finishing layouts, decor, and graphics. Their insights will help refine the final touches of the renovation to create a space that truly reflects the needs and spirit of our school community.
