Back to School Night Offers Parents a First Look at the 2025–26 School Year

The first day of the new school year has already brought our halls to life. From the moment students stepped on campus, they’ve filled Resurrection with spirit, purpose, and a renewed energy that reminds all of us why this community is so special.

Next week, parents and guardians will get a chance to step into that world during Back to School Night on Thursday, August 28.

The evening begins with two opportunities designed to support families right from the start:
5:45–6:15 p.m. – Introduction to Senior Year in the Little Theatre (for senior parents)
5:45–7:30 p.m. – Vendor tables open in the Cafeteria with information about student services, tech platforms, and more

At 6:30 p.m., all parents will gather in the Little Theatre for a brief educational program before following their daughter’s daily class schedule and meeting teachers. Classroom visits will begin promptly at 7:05 p.m.

Throughout the evening, families will have the opportunity to:

  • Follow their daughter’s daily schedule to meet teachers

  • Learn more about the people and programs shaping her education

  • Meet new faculty and staff members who are enhancing everything from student life to college counseling

  • Connect with the Parents Club and Men’s Club to learn how to get more involved

  • Enjoy a reception in the Library and connect with other parents and members of school leadership

This year’s theme, “Your Journey Begins Here: Rooted in Faith. Inspired by Possibility”, reflects Resurrection’s ongoing commitment to helping every student feel grounded in purpose and empowered to explore new opportunities. Whether finding a passion for science, preparing for college athletics, stepping into the spotlight on stage, or leading a student organization, Resurrection is where her journey unfolds.

Back to School Night is one of the best ways for families to stay engaged and connected. We hope all parents and guardians will join us for this important and energizing evening. Student attendance is optional.
