Big Things are Brewing at Resurrection: RESpresso Coffee Shop Update

We're thrilled to share an update on the upcoming RESpresso coffee shop, which has been made possible through the generous funds raised during last year’s Giving Tuesday and our capital projects efforts.

While the coffee shop has taken a bit longer than expected to complete, we’re excited to announce that it has expanded beyond our original plans. In addition to offering delicious drinks, RESpresso will feature a new seating and lounge area just outside the cafeteria. This space will provide our students with a comfortable place to relax with friends and enjoy their drinks, fostering a sense of community and connection throughout the school.

Our Marketing and Communications Manager, Carla Krajcir, has been working closely with Mrs. Ann Marie Schneider and her Intro to Business students to create a marketing and communications plan for RESpresso. The students have already voted on a slogan and logo, and our graphic designer is collaborating with Mrs. Rebecca Lam's art students to finalize the logo using concept art they developed. Additionally, the Intro to Business students are crafting social media content to generate excitement in the weeks leading up to RESpresso’s grand opening on Sunday, October 20, during our Open House.

The students have done an outstanding job raising thoughtful questions and bringing creative ideas to the table, making valuable contributions to the project's success. Working alongside Mrs. Krajcir, they are gaining firsthand experience in business development and marketing, turning their classroom learning into real-world application.

This is just the beginning! The RESpresso project is the first of several major campus renovations and improvements that we will be unveiling in the weeks leading up to our Open House on October 20.
