Celebrating Academic Excellence: Resurrection College Prep Announces 18 Illinois State Scholars

We are proud to celebrate the achievements of 18 Resurrection College Prep seniors who have been named Illinois State Scholars by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). This prestigious recognition highlights their exceptional academic potential, combining outstanding ACT or SAT scores with exemplary high school performance.

To honor their achievements, we invite family, friends, and our school community to a special Illinois State Scholar Recognition Ceremony on Monday, December 9, at 12:45 p.m.

About the Illinois State Scholar Program

The Illinois State Scholar Program identifies high school seniors who demonstrate superior academic abilities and the potential for success in college. State Scholars represent nearly every high school in Illinois and go on to attend over 200 public and private colleges and universities in the state. This designation is a testament to their hard work and dedication, marking a highlight on their academic record.

Eligibility for this award is based on a combination of ACT or SAT test scores, class size, unweighted class rank, and GPA through the sixth semester of high school. Each recipient receives a congratulatory letter, a Certificate of Achievement, and statewide recognition.
