As we approach the end of the Spring 2026 semester, final exams are just around the corner for students in grades 9–11. This important week is a time for students to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout the semester. Families are encouraged to review the exam schedule, attendance expectations, and procedures to help ensure a smooth and successful experience. With preparation, focus, and support, our Bandits will finish the year strong.

Final Exam Information:

Test Accommodations

  • Students who are eligible for testing accommodations should confirm with the Academic Support Team (Mrs. Nicole McGrath and School Counselors)

Exam Day Attendance Guidelines

  • Required Attendance: All students must be present and on time for scheduled exams. Late arrivals (over 5 minutes) will not be admitted and must take the exam on May 28th.
     
  • Absences: If a student is ill, a parent must submit the PowerSchool Student Absence Form by 9:30 AM. Make-up exams will be held on May 28th, scheduled through school counselors.
     
  • Late Arrival: Students without a period 1, 3, or 5 exam may arrive late without parent notification but must check in at the main office.
     
  • Early Dismissal: Students without a period 2, 4, or 6 exam may leave early without parent notification.
 
  • Study Periods:
     
    • All Study or Non-Exam Periods: Attendance is not required. If arriving late, students must enter through door #1 and check in at the main office.
       
  • Check-In Procedures: Normal check-in procedures apply at the main entrance

Exam Length:

  • To minimize disruption to other students during testing, all students are expected to remain in their classrooms for the entire exam period. 
  • Bathroom visits and trips to lockers should occur only during the scheduled 15-minute breaks.

Library Hours:

  • The library will open at 7:30 AM and will remain open until 30 minutes after the conclusion of the day's final exam. During all exam periods, the library will be available for silent study.

Cafeteria Hours:

  • The cafeteria will not be offering food and beverage on exam days. Lunch service will not be available. Respresso will be open for 2 hours, and will be serving breakfast items and regular beverages. 

Electronic Devices:

  • Chromebooks should be fully charged for exam days.
  • Phones and Smart Watches are to be turned OFF and put in classroom cubbies during the exam periods.

School Hours

  • The main office will be open each morning at 7:30 AM as usual, but will close a half hour after the last exam each day. It is expected that students will have been picked up within one half hour of their last exam
  • The Main Office will be closed on Monday, May 25th in honor of Memorial Day

Attire

  • Students do not need to be in uniform on the exam days
  • Comfortable clothing may be worn for exams. Attire must be school appropriate; no graphic t-shirts.

PowerSchool

  • Access to the PowerSchool Gradebook for students and parents will close on May 28th. Report Cards will be issued by June 5th.
  • Students and parents will regain access to PowerSchool in August for the 2026-2027 School Year.
