Introducing Resurrection College Prep’s First Director of Student Life

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Ms. Kathleen Donovan as the inaugural Director of Student Life. With over thirty years of leadership in both Catholic and public educational administration, Ms. Donovan brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to enhancing education and student experiences.

Ms. Donovan's career has been marked by her dedication to collaborative leadership and community engagement. These essential qualities are set to significantly enrich our school's culture and further our educational initiatives. She joins us from St. Hilary Elementary School in Chicago, where she served as Principal for the past thirteen years.

Her academic credentials are impressive, including a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and a non-profit management certification from Northwestern University, with a focus on building communities. These qualifications equip her with the skills and resources necessary to effectively support and advance our student programming.

In the realm of Catholic education, Ms. Donovan is a recognized leader. She frequently presents at national NCEA conferences and has been an active member of the Academic Committee for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Her contributions have consistently demonstrated her dedication to educational excellence and community involvement.

This school year, Ms. Donovan's priorities will include building strong relationships with students, families, and staff, assessing our current student life offerings, and enhancing our student life experience. This role connects with our strategic plan by giving students additional opportunities to develop their skills as a whole person.
