Key Club in Action: Supporting Candy Days with Misericordia

Key Club in Action: Supporting Candy Days with Misericordia

On Friday, April 24, our Resurrection Key Club members will head out into the community for one of their most meaningful service opportunities of the year, Candy Days in support of Misericordia.

Candy Days is a beloved Chicago tradition that raises critical funds for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through this partnership, our students are not only collecting donations, but they are also standing as ambassadors of compassion, inclusion, and service.

Misericordia provides vital programs that support care, independence, and joyful living for its residents. The funds raised during Candy Days directly impact the lives of thousands of individuals and families, ensuring access to safe housing, educational programs, job training, and enriching community experiences.

For our Key Club members, this is more than a volunteer shift. It is an opportunity to live out our Lasallian values by serving others and strengthening our connection to the broader community. Whether greeting neighbors with a smile, sharing information about the mission of Misericordia, or simply saying thank you to donors, our students are putting their faith into action.

We invite our Resurrection families and friends to keep an eye out for our Key Club members on Friday. If you see them, please consider making a donation and showing your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.

We are proud of our students for stepping up to serve and for representing Resurrection with kindness, generosity, and heart.
