Resurrection College Prep Legends Kristi Meade (Cirone) and Rick Clark Inducted into GCAC Hall of Fame
Resurrection High School proudly celebrated the induction of two esteemed alumni, Kristi Meade (Cirone) and Rick Clark, into the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference (GCAC) Hall of Fame on Sunday, April 21.
Meade, a basketball prodigy from the Class of 2005, was honored for her exceptional talent and achievements on the court. During her high school career, she earned numerous accolades, including spots on the 2005 McDonald's All-American Top-100 list and the 2004 IBCA First Team. At Illinois State University, Meade continued to shine, clinching three MVC Player of the Year awards and becoming the school's all-time leader in points and assists.
Clark, the esteemed bowling coach, was recognized for his outstanding leadership and success over 17 seasons at Resurrection High School. Under his guidance, the bowling team achieved an impressive GCAC record of 194 wins and 11 losses, with 17 GCAC Championships and 12 undefeated seasons. Clark's coaching legacy includes five IHSA State Final team appearances and mentoring numerous individual qualifiers and GCAC Bowler of the Year winners.
The induction of Meade and Clark into the GCAC Hall of Fame reflects their enduring impact on Resurrection College Prep's athletic program and the broader sporting community. Their remarkable achievements and dedication to their respective sports will continue to inspire future generations of athletes.
