Resurrection Flag Football Team Goes to League Championship

Resurrection College Prep High School is pleased to announce our first Flag Football team is heading to the Chicago Private League Championship beginning on October 28, 2023. In their inaugural season, the Bandits are ranked number 5 in the state of Illinois and 175 in the nation! With a record of 7 - 3, the Bandits have never let their opponents score at a home game this season! 

Several players are state-ranked in their first season including Fiona Hennessy ranked first and Jillian Hemphill ranked second for rushing; Carolyn Bomely ranked first in interceptions; and Nayeli Rivera ranked second in sacks.

The Bandits will play their first game in the League Championship against Amos Alonzo Stagg High School beginning at 3:30 p.m. on October 28, 2023, at Halas Hall in Lake Forest, Il. If they win on Saturday, the Bandits will play last year’s league champions, Willowbrook High School at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, the League Championship semi-final games begin starting at 1:00 p.m. The Championship games are not open to the public.
