The Importance of a Shadow Day at Resurrection College Prep

The Importance of a Shadow Day at Resurrection College Prep

Choosing the right high school is a significant decision that can shape a student's academic journey and personal growth. While researching schools online, attending open houses, and talking to current students and parents are all valuable steps in the process, nothing compares to the experience of spending a day immersed in the school's environment. At Resurrection College Prep, a Shadow Day offers prospective students the unique opportunity to step into the shoes of a "Bandit" and discover firsthand what makes our school a special place to learn, grow, and thrive.

A Shadow Day at Resurrection College Prep is designed to give eighth-grade girls and transfer students a taste of the day-to-day life at our school. Participants are paired with a current student, who guides them throughout the day. Eighth grade girls will get the chance to attend classes, meet teachers, interact with other students, and experience the vibrant culture and community that defines Resurrection. It’s a chance to see beyond the social media posts and website, to feel the energy in the hallways, and to get a genuine sense of what it means to be part of the Resurrection family.

Resurrection College Prep offers Shadow Days throughout the school year, on regular school days to provide the most authentic experience. In the Fall, Shadow Days are open to only Eighth grade girls. Seventh grade girls are invited to shadow in the spring. To schedule a Shadow Day, interested families can visit the school’s website or contact the admissions office directly. The process is simple, and the admissions team is always ready to answer any questions and help coordinate a visit.
