Family Action Network (FAN) is a nonprofit organization that offers a speaker series designed to elevate minds, expand hearts, and make the world a better place. FAN’s mission is to bring fresh, inspiring ideas to the community, with the goal of fostering a more informed and compassionate society. The best part? All FAN events are free and open to the public, reflecting their commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.

FAN’s mission is simple yet powerful: present fresh ideas that spark thought, cultivate empathy and contribute to positive change. Their vision is to create an informed and compassionate community where everyone has the opportunity to engage with ideas that inspire growth and understanding. “Free and open to the public” isn’t just a slogan; it’s a guiding principle that underpins FAN’s approach to building a more inclusive society.
 
Resurrection College Prep is proud to be a FAN partner and a sponsor of many of its events. This year, we are excited to have Carla Krajcir, our Marketing and Communications Manager, serve as our FAN Liaison. Carla will play a vital role in connecting FAN resources with our school community. As part of the FAN Liaison Council (LC), which includes representatives from various schools and organizations, Carla will collaborate with leadership, communication directors, and community groups to share valuable insights and ideas.

Her work will focus on:

  • Connecting with networks in our community, including school leadership and social media groups.
  • Learning about topics that resonate with our networks.
  • Brainstorming how FAN can benefit our community through its events and resources.

Each month, Carla will share relevant FAN events and opportunities with our community, ensuring we stay connected to valuable ideas that can help us grow.

FAN is dedicated to making knowledge as accessible as possible. By curating a high-quality speaker series that addresses relevant and thought-provoking topics, FAN ensures that everyone has the chance to engage with ideas that matter. Whether you’re interested in education, social justice, mental health, or other important issues, FAN’s speaker series has something for everyone.
