Celebrating Our Illinois State Scholars

At Resurrection College Prep, we are thrilled to recognize and celebrate our seniors who have been named Illinois State Scholars, an honor that highlights their exceptional academic strength, dedication, and years of hard work. This distinction is awarded by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), and it reflects a true commitment to excellence among high school students across the state.

Becoming a State Scholar is no small feat. Recipients are selected based in part on their high school performance and on their top qualifying ACT or SAT scores. It’s a recognition that reinforces not just academic achievement, but the kind of perseverance and self-discipline that prepares students for success in higher education and beyond.

These students will be formally recognized at our A Celebration of Academic Excellence & Scholar Recognition event on December 12, where their hard-earned achievements will be honored in front of their families, teachers, and the Resurrection community.

Each of these young women has shown remarkable dedication throughout their academic journey — not only mastering rigorous coursework, but also balancing extracurriculars, personal commitments, and the responsibilities that come with growing into leaders. Their success reflects both their personal drive and the collective support of their families, previous schools, and teachers.
