Bandit Tennis Shines at GCAC Championship

This past weekend, the Resurrection College Prep Varsity Tennis team wrapped up their season with an impressive performance at the GCAC Championship, finishing 3rd overall in the conference

This past weekend, the Resurrection College Prep Varsity Tennis team wrapped up their season with an impressive performance at the GCAC Championship, finishing 3rd overall in the conference. The tournament brought together some of the toughest competition of the season, and our Bandits rose to the challenge with grit, teamwork, and pride.

The doubles teams led the way with standout results. The #3 Doubles team of Annie Doherty and Fiona Cravencaptured 1st place, earning the title of GCAC All-Conference players for their outstanding effort and consistent play throughout the season. The #2 Doubles team of Shannon Curry and Grace McNamara battled their way to a strong 2nd place finish, while the #1 Doubles team of Ruby Koegler and Mia Panizzi secured 3rd place after a series of hard-fought matches.

In singles competition, #1 Singles player Anna Bohzyk and #2 Singles player Elizabeth Peters gave it their all, representing RES with determination and sportsmanship in tough early-round matches.

The Bandits’ overall 3rd place team finish is a reflection of their hard work, growth, and dedication all season long. Congratulations to the entire Varsity Tennis team on a successful year, your effort, teamwork, and Bandit spirit made us all proud!
