The Resurrection Varsity Bowling Team is headed back to the IHSA State Finals after earning a 3rd place finish at the IHSA State Sectional Tournament at Bowlero Lyons.

With their strong sectional performance, the Bandits secured their sixth State Finals appearance in the 20-year history of the program and their first trip downstate since 2023. The accomplishment is a testament to the team’s hard work, focus, and commitment all season long.

Anna Oliveri led the way with an outstanding showing, finishing 2nd overall and averaging 190 for the tournament. Allison Dolatowski also delivered a strong performance, placing 15th overall with a 174 average. It was a true team effort, as Kaitlyn Osborn, Megan Jaimes, Mallory Kottke, Amanda Taylor, and Arabella Outland all made key contributions to secure the State berth.

Now, it’s time for State. The Bandits will compete this week in Rockford as they take the lanes at the IHSA State Finals.

Congratulations to this outstanding group on reaching their goal. We are proud of their grit, teamwork, and determination and look forward to cheering them on at State!
