President's Message
Welcome to Resurrection College Prep!
At Resurrection College Prep, our mission is deeply rooted in the Five Core Principles of Lasallian Education, which inspire us to empower young women to lead lives of faith, service, and excellence. These principles guide every aspect of our work as we cultivate an inclusive, faith-filled community and prepare students to thrive academically, spiritually, and socially.
Here are some of the key initiatives currently shaping our school community:
Faith in the Presence of God:
We nurture a strong foundation of faith through weekly prayer, meaningful liturgical celebrations, and our transformative retreat programs, including Kairos. These opportunities invite students to grow closer to God and recognize His presence in their daily lives.
Concern for the Poor and Social Justice:
Our students live out their faith through service, responding to the needs of the local and global community. This year, students organized a supply drive for refugees, prepared meals for local shelters, and participated in advocacy programs addressing issues like homelessness and environmental justice.
Respect for All Persons:
At Resurrection, we are committed to fostering a culture where every individual is seen, heard, and valued. Our programs and student life activities are designed to promote leadership, mentorship, and a sense of belonging for every student.
Quality Education:
Excellence in academics is a hallmark of Resurrection. Our curriculum now includes advanced STEM initiatives, dual-enrollment programs with local universities, and personalized college and career counseling. The recent addition of collaborative classroom furniture reflects our commitment to creating environments that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and innovation.
Inclusive Community:
We celebrate the strength of our diverse community and work to ensure that everyone feels a sense of belonging. Through initiatives like the Parent Engagement Coalition and Alumnae Career Panels, we are strengthening connections among students, families, and alumnae, creating a network of support that extends far beyond graduation.
These initiatives reflect our unwavering dedication to providing an exceptional, faith-filled education for every student. Whether you are a prospective family, a dedicated alumna, or a valued member of our community, we invite you to explore the vibrant life of Resurrection College Prep.
Thank you for being part of our mission as we continue to shape confident, compassionate, and faith-driven women leaders. You can contact me at president@reshs.org.
