Dear future Bandits and parents,
Welcome and thank you for considering Resurrection College Prep High School! Founded in 1922 by the Sisters of the Resurrection, Resurrection is Catholic, all-girls college preparatory school located on the Northwest Side of Chicago. Sponsored by the Christian Brothers of the Midwest, RES is dedicated to the education of young women and to the development of their God–given talents. With an enrollment of approximately 500 young women, we serve a diverse student population from across the city and suburbs, representing over 100 private and public grammar schools.
I know selecting a high school for your daughter is a significant life decision. I am confident RES will challenge and support your daughter to reach her full potential of learning. With four learning tracks ranging from advanced placement to college preparatory with support, our faculty tailor their classes to meet every girl's needs. Our robust athletics programs, clubs and activities, and service-focused programs offer RES students an opportunity to grow spiritually, ethically, intellectually, physically, and socially. I hope you will join RES for an open house day, private tour, and/or send your daughter for a shadow day where she can experience first hand all that makes us a great community grounded in the holy presence of God. I look forward to meeting you throughout the school year.

Live Jesus in our hearts...Forever!

The All-Girl Advantage
The single-gender environment at Resurrection encourages girls to develop self-assurance, express themselves confidently, and assume significant leadership roles and responsibilities. In comparison to co-educated young women, research shows that female graduates of single gender high schools demonstrate enhanced levels of engagement in academics and civic issues, increased skills in public speaking, greater mathematical ability and competence in the use of technology, pronounced interest in engineering careers, higher participation in extracurricular activities, and confident expression in the visual and performing arts.
