Make-up Entrance ExamA Make-up Entrance Exam will be offered on Saturday, January 11, 2020, for students who were unable to attend the original testing date. Arrive by 7:45 am and the test will begin promptly at 8:00 am.
Prospective students are only eligible to take the make-up exam at Resurrection College Prep if they have not tested at any other Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Taking the entrance exam at Resurrection is the first step in the application process.
Resurrection’s Entrance Exam will be administered on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Please arrive by 7:45 am. A registration fee of $25 in the form of cash or check is required on the day of the exam. The exam will begin promptly at 8:00 am and end at approximately noon. Calculators and language translators are not permitted during the exam.
Take the Entrance Exam at Resurrection
Incoming freshmen are requested to take the Resurrection College Prep High School Entrance Exam in order to be considered for admission. This exam is for 8th grade students only.

Make-up Entrance Exam: Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 7:45 am
Exam fee is $25 (cash or check, online registrants may pay via credit card), bring two #2 pencils, no calculators.
Potential students who take the Entrance Exam at a different Chicago Archdiocese high school may have those exam scores sent to Resurrection for consideration in acceptance and placement. By taking the exam elsewhere, these potential students may experience delays in notifications, depending on when the exam scores are transferred to Resurrection.

1. Cognitive, which has 2 parts: VERBAL (analogies, synonyms, antonyms, logic) and QUANTITATIVE (reasoning, comparison and sequences).
2. Basic, which has 3 parts: READING (comprehension, vocabulary), LANGUAGE (punctuation, spelling, capitalization) and MATH.
3. SCIENCE: an optional portion that Resurrection does include in the testing.
