Transfer Admissions

Resurrection College Prep welcomes transfer students who are seeking a rigorous college preparatory education rooted in faith, academic excellence, and a strong sense of community. We encourage prospective transfer students and their families to connect with our Admissions team to learn more about the opportunities available at Resurrection and the transfer admissions process.

Resurrection College Prep welcomes Transfer students for each incoming year. The deadline to submit a completed application with all records for review is August 13th, 2026. Students who are interested in transferring mid-year must submit the completed application no later than January 7th, 2027.

How to Begin Your Application

Step 1: Contact Admissions

We begin each transfer process by understanding the student's needs. A phone call or email to the Director of Enrollment and Strategic Communications is the first step.

Step 2: Visit RES

We encourage your student to visit the campus before applying by scheduling a shadow day visit or taking a personal campus tour with parents. Afterwards, if the student and parent(s) agree RES is the right fit, the application process is the next step.

Step 3: Apply to RES

Please visit our Parent Portal Link to start the application process by creating an account and completing our application form.

  • Click “Begin Application Process.”
  • Complete and submit the short Registration Form.
  • After it processes, your Application Checklist will appear.
  • This may take a few minutes; if you don’t see it, try refreshing your browser or logging out and back in.
  • Once the checklist is visible, complete the Student Application.
  • Last, submit this application form via email.

Step 4: Submit Academic Records

Next, submit the Transcript/Record Request electronically to your student’s current school, or reach out directly. We request:

  • Standardized test scores
  • A current transcript showing all courses completed with grades and credits earned through last term. If your daughter is applying mid school year, a progress report is also requested to show her current grades. A final official transcript must be provided to Resurrection upon completion of the current academic year
  • Complete records of any attendance at summer school for high school credit.
  • Any IEP, 504 Plan, or accommodation documentation (if applicable).
  • Attendance Discipline and Records Release Form completed by current high school. Please note, this also includes the transcript release form schools will ask for to provide Resurrection with current records.
  • Completed Application for Transfer Admission and applicant essay. In a paragraph, the student should tell us why she would like to attend Resurrection High School.

Step 5: Review and Admissions Decision

After all documents are submitted, our Teaching and Learning administration will review all files. Upon review, parents will either be sent an acceptance letter via email, a request for a parent and student interview, or recommendations to not move forward. We encourage clear communication and an open dialogue about your daughter's academic background and how Resurrection can accommodate and prepare each student for success.
