Congratulations to our Resurrection Varsity Basketball team for being named a Division 1 All-State Academic Team by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association. The team finished with the second highest GPA (grade point average) amongst basketball teams in the City of Chicago.
The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association’s annual All-State Academic Team ranks teams with the highest unweighted cumulative GPAs for each player to calculate the overall team GPA. In the past two years, the team has finished first and second respectively.
This is a great accomplishment for the Bandits Varsity Basketball team, and demonstrates that Resurrection has student-athletes who value both athletics and academics. Go Bandits!
