Golf

Learning golf in high school offers valuable benefits for girls—both on and off the course. Golf teaches patience, discipline, and strategic thinking, while also promoting confidence and resilience through individual and team competition. At Resurrection, our team wrapped up the season with a 4-5 record, earning key victories over rivals Trinity and Regina. The girls finished 11th at the GCAC Tournament and 8th at the IHSA State Regional, showcasing growth and determination. With three players competing at the Varsity level for the first time, this season reflected how golf opens doors for new athletes to challenge themselves. Beyond high school, golf can lead to scholarships, networking opportunities, and a lifelong sport that supports personal and professional development. For young women, especially, golf fosters leadership and poise—skills that last far beyond the 18th hole. It’s more than a game—it’s a foundation for future success.
