A Virtual PerformanceSpecial thanks to playwright James Still who worked with Resurrection drama teacher Mary Katherine Bohlander to obtain permission from the publisher to produce this as a virtual performance.
And Then They Came for Me is a play by American author James Still. It is part oral history, part drama, part remembrance, and is ensemble-driven.
This multimedia production combines tapes of interviews with Anne Frank's friends who survived the Holocaust with live actors recreating the scenes from their lives.
The title refers to the famous poem "First they came ..." by Pastor Martin Niemöller.
