Honor Society Inductions 2021

Honor Society InductionsResurrection College Prep’s eight honor societies collectively invited 96 students to be inducted at its annual Honor Society Induction Ceremonies. Assistant Principal Joseph Lascon welcomed the inductees at each ceremony, acknowledging their academic achievements. Guest speaker Samantha Toomey, Resurrection teacher and Resurrection alumna of the Class of 2011, encouraged the inductees to seek opportunities that would help them understand who they are as individuals and what they can bring to their communities through sharing their talents. After Campus Minister Maggie Qualter blessed the pins, they were presented to each student by Dean of Students Tamara Bernardin after students were individually called to the stage by Dr. Megan Leider.

NHS President Casey Brannigan and NHS Vice President Alexandra Bazianos served as student leaders during the ceremony, explaining the Candlelighting ceremony and leading the inductees in reciting the Honor Society Pledge.

Following the ceremony, inductees received a certificate to commemorate their academic achievements and a chocolate chip cookie as a special treat. The induction ceremonies were held April 26 and 27, 2021, with a special ceremony on May 21, 2021, for students participated in remote-only learning this semester.
