Senior Announcements

Class of 2026,
What a remarkable season this is for our senior families. As we near the conclusion of your daughter’s time at Resurrection College Prep, we celebrate the growth, resilience, and leadership she has demonstrated. While this transition is naturally bittersweet, we are deeply proud and confident as we send her forward into the next phase of her life.
As graduation approaches, several important questions and logistics arise, and we hope this communication provides clarity and support.
SENIOR REMINDERS
ATTENDANCE & “SENIOR DITCH DAY”
Consistent attendance remains essential through the final weeks of the school year. Every instructional day matters, and we expect our seniors to remain present, engaged, and committed to finishing the year strong. Unless a student is ill or experiencing an unavoidable circumstance, she is expected to attend all classes through the last day.
Resurrection College Prep does not sponsor or recognize a “Senior Ditch Day.” Students who choose to be absent for this reason will be marked absent in accordance with school policy. Missed classwork, assessments, or classroom experiences may not be eligible for make-up or credit, and assignments submitted on behalf of an absent student will not be accepted.
Additionally, these absences count toward the total number used to determine eligibility for senior exam exemptions.
We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing the importance of responsibility, integrity, and Bandit pride as our young women complete their final chapter at Resurrection.
SEMESTER REPORT CARDS
We encourage families to regularly monitor their daughter’s academic progress throughout the semester via PowerSchool. Ongoing communication and awareness are key to ensuring a strong and successful finish to the school year. Final report cards will be mailed home during the second week of June.
Please note that many colleges extend admission with the expectation that a student’s eighth-semester performance remains consistent with her prior academic record. It is therefore essential that seniors remain focused, engaged, and committed to maintaining their academic standing through the end of the year.
If your daughter’s grade in any course falls below a C (70%), she is at risk of not earning credit for that class. Should this occur, our team will implement appropriate academic supports and interventions to help her regain momentum and successfully complete the semester.
As always, we value our partnership with you and remain committed to supporting your daughter’s continued growth and achievement.
FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS & COURSE AND CREDIT COMPLETION
Please be reminded that all accounts are to be paid in full by April 10, 2026. Seniors with outstanding balances at the end of the year will not be permitted to participate in any of the senior activities taking place in May. These include the Senior Prom, Honors Convocation, Final Exams, and the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Ceremony. Please make arrangements now with Ms. Tiffany Preuss, Chief Finance Officer, at tpreuss@reshs.org to ensure that all financial obligations have been resolved by this date.
Only seniors who have completed the required courses and credits will be permitted to participate in the Honors Convocation and the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Ceremony.
FINAL TRANSCRIPTS
In April, seniors will receive an E-Collect Form in PowerSchool to indicate the college or university where their final transcript should be sent following graduation.
Colleges and universities require an official final transcript that verifies successful completion of graduation requirements. It is important that students complete this form accurately and in a timely manner to ensure enrollment processes are not delayed.
SENIOR TIMELINE
CAP AND GOWN PICK-UP | March 26, 2026
The countdown to Commencement begins. Caps and gowns will be distributed during lunch periods on March 26. Please note that all financial obligations must be current in order for students to receive their cap and gown.
As your daughter prepares for the milestone events ahead — Honors Convocation, Baccalaureate Mass, and the Commencement Ceremony — we encourage families to prepare the gown in advance. Because gowns are packaged for shipment, light creasing may occur. Gowns should be gently *steamed rather than ironed* to ensure they are presentation-ready for these memorable celebrations.
We look forward to seeing the Class of 2026 proudly wear their Resurrection colors as they celebrate this significant achievement together.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) EXAMS | May 4 - 15, 2026
As our seniors enter the final academic stretch of their Resurrection journey, Advanced Placement (AP) Exams will take place from May 4 through May 15, 2026. These exams provide students the opportunity to demonstrate college-level mastery and may allow them to earn college credit as they prepare for the next chapter of their educational journey.
Detailed testing information, including schedules and expectations, will be shared with AP students and families by Ms. Schneider and Ms. Feaman prior to the start of testing.
SENIOR FINAL EXAMS | May 14 - 15, 2026
Senior Final Exams will be held on May 14 and May 15, 2026, marking the culmination of our seniors’ academic experience at Resurrection College Prep. Information regarding exam procedures and eligibility for possible exam exemptions will be posted on Schoology and communicated directly to seniors via email.
These final academic milestones serve as an important bridge between classroom achievement and the celebrations that follow, as we prepare to honor the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished.
SENIOR CELEBRATIONS & MILESTONES
SENIOR BBQ | May 13, 2026
The Senior BBQ will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, beginning at 11:08 a.m. This special tradition, hosted by the Administration and the Men’s Club, provides our seniors with an outdoor, picnic-style lunch (weather permitting) as they celebrate their final days together as Bandits.
Seniors will be dismissed for the day at the conclusion of the BBQ (approximately 12:12 p.m.).
SENIOR BREAKFAST & COMMENCEMENT PRACTICE | May 18, 2026
The Senior Breakfast will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 8:20 – 9:00 a.m. in the café. Immediately following breakfast, seniors will report to the gymnasium at 9:00 a.m. for Commencement Practice. Students will be dismissed for the day at the conclusion of practice.
During Commencement Practice, each senior will receive eight (8) tickets for the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Ceremony. While additional tickets cannot be guaranteed, students who do not need all of their tickets are welcome to share them with classmates who may require more.
HONORS CONVOCATION | May 19, 2026
Honors Convocation will take place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in the gymnasium. All seniors are required to attend and must bring their cap and gown.
This all-school celebration recognizes the academic, athletic, service, and leadership accomplishments of the Class of 2026. Immediately following Convocation, graduates and their families are invited to a reception in the library. Seniors will be dismissed after the reception concludes.
